How to install extension springs
We recommend replacing all extension springs at the same time. Springs are rated in cycles, (one up & one down = one cycle) and when one breaks, the other spring is reaching the end of it’s cycle life. Consider replacing the cables at this time also, you will have the door in a state of disassembly that will enable you to easily replace the cables at this time. Inspect the clevis & stud pulleys, replace these if needed.
